Solana Foundation’s Tokens.xyz write-up highlights a cleaner way to browse onchain assets. Instead of hunting through mints and pools, users get one asset page with liquidity, price, and routing context.
Tokens.xyz groups nearly 300 assets across crypto, stocks, ETFs, treasuries, currencies, and metals. The site ranks variants by mechanism and trust class, then routes users to swaps, perps, or pools on third-party venues.
That abstraction matters as Solana becomes a bigger distribution layer for tokenized assets. Better discovery means less fragmented liquidity and less user confusion when multiple wrappers or issuers exist for the same underlying asset.
Users should treat the page as a research front-end, not a custody layer. Builders can use the new Assets API beta as a cleaner way to access asset-level data without reconstructing the market view manually.
