Solana Mobile added App Spotlight to the Solana dApp Store as a new discovery layer for users. The feature highlights four curated apps at a time and refreshes them regularly so smaller launches do not get buried in a fast-growing catalog.
App Spotlight adds a themed carousel, curator notes, and featured Seeker reviews directly inside the dApp Store. The first spotlight focuses on onchain games and puzzles, and the company says the carousel will keep rotating with fresh themes.
For the Solana Mobile ecosystem, better discovery can translate into better retention and more balanced distribution across the app catalog. That matters because the store is already deep enough that good apps can otherwise disappear before they get meaningful traction.
Seeker users should check the new Spotlight row near the top of the dApp Store to find the current featured apps. Builders should watch future themes closely, since spotlight placement may become an important channel for new-user acquisition and ecosystem growth.
