The Firedancer project published Frankendancer Testnet v0.1004.40101 on the official Firedancer releases page. The pre-release is intended for testnet use and may also be used on mainnet with a small amount of stake under Anza's v4.1.0-rc.1 guidance, making it a meaningful validator tooling update for operators tracking Solana client diversity.
The release upgrades the Agave submodule to v4.1.0-rc.1. It also adds better filtering for old shreds and better support for certain irregular stake distributions.
